Privacy And Your Enquiry

What you share, how it is used and the choices you have when contacting us.

What This Notice Covers

This notice explains how information provided through Bristol Fire Safety Services is used for enquiries. It applies to the forms on this website. It does not cover a separate firm’s handling of information after you engage with that firm.

Information You Provide

The enquiry form collects your name, email address, optional phone number, chosen service and message. It also records the website the enquiry came from and your agreement to sharing. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or details about other people that are unnecessary for the request.

How Enquiries Are Used And Shared

Your details are used to understand and respond to your enquiry. We ask for your agreement before passing the enquiry and contact details to a suitable local firm that can discuss the requested service. The form cannot be submitted without that agreement.

The firm may use the details to contact you, clarify the scope and discuss a quotation or visit. It is responsible for explaining its own data handling and any further service agreement. Your enquiry is not permission for unrelated marketing.

Technical Data And Website Services

Hosting and delivery services may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times and browser details for website delivery, security and fault investigation. The form includes an automated spam check. Google Fonts is used to load the website typefaces, which means your browser connects to Google’s font services.

This website does not include advertising trackers or analytics cookies. No account is needed to make an enquiry. Any later change to tracking or cookie use should be reflected in this notice.

Retention And Security

Enquiry information should be kept only for as long as needed to deal with the request, related follow-up and applicable legal obligations. Access should be limited to people and service providers who need it for those purposes. There is no fixed retention period stated here because the circumstances of each enquiry and any resulting service can differ.

Your Choices And Rights

You can choose not to submit an enquiry. You can also ask to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your agreement to future sharing, by using the contact form and selecting Other Fire Safety Work. State that the message concerns privacy and provide enough information to identify your earlier enquiry.

Withdrawing agreement does not undo processing already carried out lawfully. If your details have already been shared with a local firm, you may need to contact that firm about its records. Rights can be subject to legal limits and identity checks.

Questions And Complaints

Use the contact form for questions about this notice or the handling of an enquiry. If you remain concerned about how your personal information has been handled, you can raise a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through its official website.

This notice should be reviewed when the enquiry process or service providers change.
